Description of Test

Concrete is sampled in accordance with AASHTO R 60. The concrete is placed into the slump cone in 3 lifts of equal volume with each lift being rodded 25 times. The cone is then lifted in a vertical motion, and difference between the top of the displaced concrete the original height is reported as the slump.
